1 & 2–It was wonderful to have a say in the recipes but to have all the planning and shopping done for us…thanks, Jeanne and Terry! Everything worked…themes were interesting; the group was VERY fun…all was fantastic!
3–There was a lot of information covered: nutrition, ethnic spices, uses for the sauces, modifications. Maybe some of these ideas/categories could be summarized in a “helpful hints” page on your website?
4–I really enjoyed getting to explore so many new ingredients and spices; it was delightful that much of the food was a hit with my teens. And I loved how there were no mistakes…just chances to improvise and adjust!
5–Adult learning is all about relevant, hands-on, fun experiences. This was an excellent, productive use of our time and met the criteria of being excellent adult learning. The ambiance was very inviting and communal…well done, Terry and Jeanne!
Thank you, Maureen! We had so much fun and truly do want to do this again – hopefully before you leave for Costa Rica! Stay in touch!

Thank you Terry and Jeanne!
I thought that putting the class together on your part was a very powerful work. It got a bunch of us together doing something fun. For me, relatively new to Unity it was an especially great way to get to know people. It made it so that when I came to church on Sunday, I knew quite a few more people that were meeting in the lobby after service!
Really I thought all of the details such as days, times, recipes and themes worked well. I especially liked the format of having the first five weeks as sort of the baseline getting together to cook, and then having the sixth week as a climatic celebration feast. In fact the sixth week ambience made the evening very special.
The class was super stupendously wonderful, yet I know we are all folks that want to make things even better, so I will offer that I liked having 1-2 days worth of food to take home, yet there was one week where I had like 3-4 days worth of food to take home which I was really happy about. Again, in the spirit of taking something fabulous even up a notch.
The best part for me about the class was that the atmosphere was so light and bright. Terry and Jeanne really set the tone for enthusiasm and happiness! So thank you Terry and Jeanne for that. I will look forward to the next one!
Thanks, Greg! It was great fun having you cooking with us. And yes, it is a great way to meet folks quickly when they start chopping and cooking right next to you! Your participation in and addition to the group is appreciated. Having a the take home extend for a few more meals, perhaps with some suggestions for “changing it up” would definitely be a benefit for busy folks.
We appreciate you taking the time to give your feedback. We will be doing a class like this again and want it even better than before!

I am so in joy and enjoying “Incredible Feasts with Friends” on Thursday nights at Seattle Unity. We are experimenting and learning about spices of the Eastern Mediterranean… They are wonderful!! The Lemon Aioli is awesome. Today I tried the Persian Spice Mix we made on my fav… Popcorn! It is so good to cook healthy organic food in community with friends. Lovin’ It!
