Is your To-Do List a Source of Stress?
Waiting until the last minute to write my blog became a Source of Stress for me this morning. My plate is overloaded with lots of good things!
I tend to think I have more time than I do and get too many things going at the same time. The biggest problem is I don’t stop there, I keep adding to it and believing I can do more. It becomes a source of stress. How about you?
Yes I have strategies and yes I get distracted. My big challenge is sticking to the list and not allowing myself to get side tracked down some rabbit hole.
How about you? Do you get distracted?
How do you keep yourself to what is “The One Thing” that needs to get done?
Those of you that email with magnificent offers distract me…. there is always a Bright Shiny something being promoted. If it’s something I can use right now, I go down that path…. The problem is running into that single thing and then its not as simple as they say to implement and make use of it.
Or I “tag” it in my mind, say I will get back to it, and then forget…. a source of stress when I try to recall what it was….
Breathing & removing the source of stress
Today is one of those days where I am putting on the blinders, putting my head down, and focusing. I have an accountability partner. We meet on Monday’s with our “To Do” list. I committed to having it all done before I shut my computer Friday afternoon. So I am being vulnerable and writing this piece.
